• Since grooming is a matter of personal taste, we ask that you spend a few minutes with our staff to discuss your style preferences and your dog’s grooming history.

• Once the grooming is complete, we will contact you. We allow up to a hour courtesy time for you to pick up your dog. Otherwise, daycare charges will be applied. Please book in advance.

• New clients must be registered before initial preparation. Application forms are available for download in the "Releases" section of this site. You must also provide written proof of current rabies, distemper and Bordetella vaccines.

• VLP GROOMING & SPA reserves the right to decline grooming services based on the dog’s age, temperament, condition of coat or general health.

• All cancellations made with less than 24 hour notice will incur a $20 fee.

• Extra charges for grooming are based

on coat condition and general temperament.

• At VLP GROOMING & SPA, we offer a non-anesthesia pet dental cleaning. A non-anesthesia dental care program is a preventive care procedure designed to improve the oral hygiene and the overall health of your pet.

Without dental care, most dogs have at least the beginning signs of periodontal disease by age three. Dental care is more than a cure for bad breath. Poor oral health can lead to heart, liver and kidney problems for your pet.

• Routine dental cleaning is important. As you care for your dog’s mouth, look for warning signs of gum disease such as bad breath, red and swollen gums, a yellow-brown crust of tartar around the gum line, and pain or bleeding when you touch the gums or mouth. You should also watch for discolored, fractured or missing teeth. Any bumps or masses within the mouth should also be checked.
